犬飼実花 Mika Inukai
愛知県名古屋市出身。
Mika was born in Nagoya, Japan.
She began playing the piano at the age of three. She completed her undergraduate degree in 2016 at Toho Gakuen College of Music in Tokyo, where she studied with Nobuhito Nakai. Mika was chosen to perform in some concerts as an outstanding student of the college. She was nominated for the student president of the college and gave a solo concert in Tokyo. She has also participated in the Hamamatsu International Piano Academy.
Mika completed her master's degree course in 2020 at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, in the UK, where she studied on a full scholarship with Margaret Fingerfut and Anthony Hewitt. She is continuing studying with Anthony Hewitt even though she has graduated from the Conservatoire.
Mika has had a number of successes in both national and international competitions. In 2010 she was a finalist at the Ettlingen International Competition for Young Pianists in Germany. She received the gold medal at the Aichi piano competition in 2011, and an Espoir prize at the Osaka International Music Competition. In 2012 she won 3rd prize at the Tokyo Piano Competition, and in 2013 she was awarded 3rd prize at the Japan Classical Music Competition. In 2019 she won 1st prize at the Appelbe Piano Prize Competition, 3rd prize at the Watford International Piano Competition in the UK.
Mika has given many performances in Japan as well as in the UK.
